Have Hope.
The morning I saw this heart, I had just come out of my room after spending a little extra time in bed than usual. Just that night leading into that morning, I went to bed with a rather heavy heart. That week, so many things were just not in alignment for me back to back, and that night was really the time in which I felt up to crying it all out after trying to hold myself together for so long.
That morning, my aunts had been visiting in town. It was their last day, and they had been staying with me. Although I enjoyed their company and love my family, I was just not having a good week leading up to their visit due to events unrelated to them. While they were visiting, I was trying to keep my composure but was flustered with emotions, so the nighttime was really when I felt I could actually be to myself.
That night was the heaviest. I woke up to my aunts chatting in the living room and knew I had to come out eventually to greet them and start our day. I came out and joined them on the couch. When I sat down and looked ahead, in front of me was this heart casted on my floor, coming from the light shining in through my window blinds.
Seeing this heart at the time I did felt like hope shining through, almost like the Batman signal, is what it reminds me of, and love coming in. A beautiful sight for my morning!
A reminder of hope in the darkness.
